Ruh Roh Merchant Mariner

there’s not a day where I don’t think about the merchant mariner ship that went down in a hurricane who’s last broadcast was officially recorded as “ruh roh” MU 03:00:45.8 [sound similar to clacking or tapping on the steel deck.] 2M 03:00:47.8 rhut row. [spoken in a Scooby Doo voice.] 03:00:49.1 AB-2 03:00:49.6 hell was that? 03:00:51.1

A fake transcript claims that a merchant mariner ship sinking in a hurricane ended with a final broadcast sounding like Scooby-Doo saying “ruh roh.” The joke comes from applying a goofy cartoon catchphrase to a terrifying maritime disaster, making the grim situation absurd.
