Asian Classmate Searching for Snail
My Asian classmate in 3rd grade looking for his pet snail
The clip shows Eminem in a dark recording studio, wearing headphones and reading from a music stand, followed by dramatic shots of studio equipment. The caption absurdly compares his intense, mournful performance to a third-grade Asian classmate searching for a lost pet snail. Eminem’s song “Cleanin' Out My Closet” makes the joke work through its serious, emotionally charged hip-hop mood, turning a trivial search into an epic tragedy.
