Breaking News Gunman Panic

Text on the meme

ohhhh my god no... oh no!!!!! WAIT NO BREAKING: Images emerge of gunman

What it means

A dark-mode social media post builds panic with increasingly alarmed reactions before showing a breaking-news-style post containing two side-profile photos of a long-haired person. The joke is the absurd escalation and apparent comparison of the same person in two images as a supposed gunman reveal, used as a reaction to alarming or ridiculous news.
