What it means

A video begins with a person walking through a store in ordinary clothes, then cuts to a close-up of an Akatsuki-themed anime shirt before showing increasingly chaotic social-media comments. The joke is that anime, once mocked as childish or embarrassing, is now mainstream and considered cool, while the comments reveal that some former anime fans have extremely questionable memories and oversharing habits. Dramatic opera-style music heightens the absurd “the switch up is crazy” reaction and makes the sudden confession feel even more theatrical.
