German-Argentinian Grandfather Joke

Text on the meme

German-Argentinian 🇩🇪 🇦🇷 Nobody ask what her grandfather was doing from 1936-1945

What it means

A young woman is shown in two close-up selfies beneath the label “German-Argentinian.” The joke implies that her German-Argentine grandfather may have had a suspicious connection to Nazi Germany during 1936–1945, referencing the Nazi era and World War II. It is used as a darkly humorous reaction to someone being attractive despite an uncomfortable family history.
