EN: A man wearing glasses points to the United Kingdom flag on a monitor while footage of a tank, a historical painting, and a map of North America changes on a second screen. He drinks from a cup, points at the display, and appears to explain a visual joke or historical connection, but the exact meaning of his speech is not visible without audio. The clip works as a reaction to someone confidently explaining a complicated and unexpected theory.

Is Russia going into battle? Flying Confederate flags from the American Civil War. Alright, this one's new. I had a viewer send me this video. It's from a Koala Explains video, I'll have the link in the description below. It certainly looks like a Confederate flag. But technically this isn't a Confederate flag either. The Confederacy was a union of states that seceded from America during the American Civil War. This was the flag of the Confederacy and this was the battle flag of the Secessionist Army of Northern Virginia. But this isn't a Confederate flag either. It's technically the Novorusev flag, which is the flag of the breakaway Ukrainian republics of Donetsk and Luhansk. And this Secessionist Novorusev flag is really based on the Russian naval ensign. Which you can find flying off of Russian ships. So no, this tank isn't flying Confederate flag, although there There are some remarkable similarities.
