Engineer Invents a Cat Window
if something doesn't exist and you're an engineer Loading...
A bearded man watches a monitor while the caption says, “if something doesn't exist and you're an engineer.” After a loading screen, he builds a small black cat-shaped device from craft materials and positions it beneath a motorized lamp or window-like mechanism, proudly watching it work. The joke is that an engineer responds to a nonexistent problem by inventing an absurdly elaborate solution; Maxwell the Cat plays over the montage, making the construction feel dramatically serious and whimsical. The audio includes Maxwell the Cat by Maxwell the Cat, with playful electronic music and mechanical electric-window-like sounds that reinforce the gadget-building punchline.
If something doesn't exist and you're an engineer, you can just freaking will it and do existence.
