Moon Lord Has Awoken

Text on the meme

Impending doom approaches... Moon Lord has awoken!

What it means

A chaotic video combines Terraria’s dungeon and Moon Lord imagery with live-action people in blue robes performing exaggerated ritual-like movements. The caption announces impending doom before the Moon Lord awakens, turning the boss encounter into an absurd, theatrical reaction to an ominous situation. Dramatic video-game music builds the sense of an overblown catastrophe and makes the sudden boss reveal funnier.
