What it means

A video shows a monitor displaying what appears to be a leaked remastered version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, beginning with the classic menu and loading screen. The footage then dramatically transitions into Skyrim, revealing that the supposed Oblivion remaster is actually Skyrim footage; the grand fantasy music by Jeremy Soule makes the fake reveal feel unusually epic and convincing. It is used as a reaction to misleading leaks, bait-and-switch announcements, or anything hyped as one thing that turns out to be another.
