Text on the meme

My son, one day you will understand and appreciate what I do for you today Thanks Dad

What it means

A father waters a small plant while telling his son that he will someday understand and appreciate what he does. In the next panel, the grown son tends a large cannabis plant and thanks his dad, making the punchline a joke about the father secretly raising him to become a marijuana grower.
