me after i saw the tv glow teenagers in the back row wouldn't stop making transphobic/ homophobic comments the whole time at the end, i stood up, turned around and told them to "have at least a little bit of f*cking respect" and i told them how they ruined this extremely important movie for me they laughed. and then called me a f*ggot on my way out of the theater. the movie was so beautiful and emotional. i was sobbing the whole movie and at the same time hearing five teenagers behind me snicker and crack homophobic jokes the entire time. take care of your queer friends please
