Missing Telephone Pole Surprise

MISSING TELEPHONE POLE

What it means

A man in a grassy yard holds a missing-person-style sign for a telephone pole while apparently carrying the very pole he is looking for. He suddenly realizes the absurdity of the situation and covers his face in disbelief. Childish Gambino’s “Redbone,” with its moody, suspenseful sound and heartbeat-like intensity, heightens the dramatic realization and makes the visual joke funnier as a reaction to an obvious or self-inflicted mistake.
