Gonk Was Short on Eddies

So I needed more money to buy- Gonk was short on Eddies

What it means

A simple white cartoon figure says he needs more money to buy something, while a cyberpunk-styled Gonk from Fallout appears beside him with the caption “Gonk was short on Eddies.” The joke combines the generic character’s financial problem with Gonk’s lack of in-game currency, making it a reaction to being broke or unable to afford something.
