Men Through Their Wives' Eyes

The lives of men through the eyes of their wives

A man performs a series of ordinary household tasks: brushing his teeth, washing his hands, wiping an oven, getting ready to leave, and walking away. The joke is that these mundane moments are presented as the exhausting, highly managed life supposedly seen through his wife’s eyes, turning everyday chores into a melodramatic montage. The elegant orchestral music, “Theme From a Summer Place” by The Orchestra of Sergio Rafael, creates a sweeping, sentimental mood that makes the routine actions absurdly dramatic.
