What Is a Hero?

Text on the meme

what is a hero? ¡misión superada! $20000

What it means

A low-resolution Grand Theft Auto-style gameplay clip shows the player driving into a truck, causing a chaotic crash and accidentally completing a mission for $20,000. The joke is that the reckless driver is treated as a hero because the destruction somehow counts as a successful rescue or mission, while The Rare Occasions’ upbeat indie rock song “Notion” makes the absurd violence feel triumphant and hilariously overdramatic.
