My Tax Dollars Missile Defense

Text on the meme

A live look into the situation unfolding in the Middle East My tax dollars Somehow also my tax dollars

What it means

A screenshot-style meme shows nighttime missile interceptions over a city, labeled “My tax dollars” on one side and “Somehow also my tax dollars” on the other. The joke refers to taxpayers humorously imagining their money funding both sides of a conflict, expressing cynical absurdity about government spending and the situation in the Middle East.
