The Group Chat Roles

The “Group Chat” The Joke Master - Posts the best jokes and riffs, is clever and slippery - Never makes Poor Quality Posts (PQPs) - Ducks out when a Real Post Storm begins to brew Jokemaster’s Apprentices - Assists the Joke Master in riffs, posts memes - Occasionally makes PQPs, has to redeem self quickly. Has much to learn The Riff Assassin - Never fails to ruin the energy, forcing everyone to stop posting for about 30 minutes (the minimum time required to change the topic) - Biologically tuned to making PQPs at the worst possible moment The Analyst - Comes bearing knowledge, unsolicited, to the eager minds in the Group Chat, and all will drink their fill - Brings up Current Topics and Explains them The Lecturer - Incites Real Post Storms. Despised by the Joke Master - Frequently infuriated - Tries to mend bad behavior of the Group Chat with long PQPs The Wikipedia Article Poster - https://wikipedia.org/wiki/France Woah. didnt know about this - Works well with the Analyst, can fill in other roles as needed

A humorous chart assigns exaggerated roles to members of “The Group Chat,” from the Joke Master and Riff Assassin to the Analyst, Lecturer, and Wikipedia Article Poster. The joke is that every group chat has recognizable personalities whose habits create jokes, derail conversations, or trigger long informative posts, so it can be sent as a reaction when describing chaotic chat dynamics.
