Old vs New American Psycho Fan

Text on the meme

OLD AMERICAN PSYCHO FAN NEW AMERICAN PSYCHO FAN

What it means

A split-panel meme contrasts an old American Psycho fan, shown as an ordinary young man, with a new fan presented through dramatic goth, surreal, and heavily edited imagery. The joke mocks newer fans who turn the film’s aesthetic into an exaggerated dark, edgy identity rather than simply enjoying the movie.
