The Game Is Serious
"Why are you so serious about this? It's just a game." The Game:
A group of ancient Mesoamerican ballgame players compete intensely in a stone court while one player leaps toward the ball. The joke contrasts the casual phrase “It’s just a game” with an extreme, dramatic depiction of how seriously the game is being played. It is used as a reaction to competitive situations where people become intensely invested.
