the medieval royalty urge to always have entertainment while eating

What it means

A laptop plays something above a plate of fried food, with a caption imagining medieval royalty having the same urge to watch entertainment while eating. The joke compares a modern habit of needing a screen during meals to the lavish entertainment supposedly provided for medieval nobles.
