Portugal Claims All of Africa

Text on the meme

Portugal going to the Berlin Conference to claim all of Africa because the Pope said it was theirs 400 years ago

What it means

A suited man walks purposefully through a corridor while a Portugal-themed map of Africa appears beside him. The joke imagines Portugal absurdly trying to reclaim all of Africa at the Berlin Conference based on a centuries-old papal claim, mocking colonial entitlement and historical revisionism. Dramatic music makes his walk feel comically serious and overconfident. EN: A suited man walks purposefully through a corridor while a Portugal-themed map of Africa appears beside him.
