What it means

A two-panel comparison shows Finland ranked first among the world’s happiest countries, while a second chart shows Finland also having the highest reported share of Black people experiencing racist harassment in the EU. The red arrows and shocked cartoon character highlight the ironic contradiction between the two rankings. It is used as a reaction to hypocrisy, misleading statistics, or situations where a positive reputation clashes with an unpleasant reality.
