Wizard Evolution Through the Decades
Wizard Evolution pre-2000s 2000s -2010s 2020s
A three-panel cartoon shows how a wizard’s appearance evolves from a traditional bearded robe-wearing wizard before the 2000s, to a young bespectacled student in the 2000s–2010s, and back to an elderly wizard in the 2020s. The joke is that modern wizard culture briefly became associated with young fantasy heroes before returning to the classic wizard stereotype.
