Zelensky Stops the Tram
Zelensky You can stop the tram at any moment, but you refuse because you need guarantees that it won’t start moving again in a few years
A line of people lies on a tram track while Zelensky stands beside the tram with a lever. The joke portrays a demand for guarantees before stopping something, implying fear that the tram will start moving again years later. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to political promises and distrust. EN: A line of people lies on a tram track while Zelensky stands beside the tram with a lever.
