Software Engineering Then vs Now
SOFTWARE ENGINEERING – THEN VS NOW I keep learning new skills and use logic to solve problems so that I can do my job properly and efficiently as a programmer I must talk like a caveman to BS generators (owned by private companies in the U.S.) to avoid hitting token quotas so that I can keep begging for fixes for the bugs in their code
A muscular cat represents an older, competent approach to software engineering based on learning and logic. A seated dog represents the modern programmer who must use simplistic prompts and beg AI code generators for fixes while avoiding token limits. The joke mocks dependence on corporate AI tools and the decline of traditional programming skills.
