When Media Literacy Kicks In
>when the media literacy kicks and the giant man-eating insects are actually the good guys
A grainy black-and-white drawing of a bespectacled man appears beside a caption about realizing that giant man-eating insects are actually the good guys. The joke mocks media literacy taken to an absurd extreme, treating monstrous creatures as heroes after questioning the usual narrative. It is used as a reaction to stories where the apparent villains may have a justified perspective.
