Ruben the Understander Hates School
RUBEN THE UNDERSTANDER I HATE SCHOOL Ruben the Understander
A deadpan music-player video shows a young guitarist standing outside a school while the song “I Hate School” by Ruben the Understander plays. The awkward homemade album-cover aesthetic and repetitive music turn ordinary school dislike into an absurd reaction meme, useful for expressing intense boredom or hatred of school. The music has a lo-fi, amateur rock feel with a sarcastic, rebellious mood that makes the joke funnier.
You are listening to Robyn the Understander. I hate school!
