Petty Thief and Big Thief
The state calls its own violence law, but that of the individual, crime. The petty thief is imprisoned but the big thief becomes a feudal lord.
Two masked figures in red suits stand triumphantly on a stone staircase with their fists raised. The joke contrasts how state violence is legitimized as law while individual theft is punished, whereas powerful thieves become feudal lords. It is used as a sarcastic reaction to hypocrisy, class privilege, and unequal justice. EN: Two masked figures in red suits stand triumphantly on a stone staircase with their fists raised.
