A vintage-style technical drawing labeled “Toilet Bong” shows a kneeling person apparently smoking through a modified toilet connected to a large tank and hose. The absurdity of presenting an improvised bong as a serious patent diagram creates the joke, making it useful as a reaction to bizarre inventions or overengineered solutions.
