Wizard Defends His Forest

>>54646695 (OP) # Look, don't get a staff, just get a necklace and if trouble comes dangle it in front of you and cast. Staffs are for range and power on the field of battle, not self defense. Your a middle age man in a safe town, you don't need to walk around with an adventurer grade weapon. All your doing soaring the folks at at muttonking into thinking your a warlock about to do a mass newting. If you want a staff, join the overseas crusades against the ork, just don't bring those kinda self-casting 30 hex fooi into the village market. >>54647434 # sounds like a load of city guard orcshit, Its a free kingdom and Ill do what I want, who said I was using it for self defense? I have a bunch of pests I need to splatter on the walls of my tower. and I need to keep low class adventurers who are fresh out of the academy out of my forest

EN: Two anonymous fantasy-forum users argue about how a wizard should carry and use a staff. The first advises against taking a battle staff through a safe town, while the second angrily insists that it is his free kingdom and he wants to keep adventurers out of his forest. The joke parodies an argument about self-defense by placing it in an absurd fantasy world.
