Dead at His Keyboard
I found a my best work friend dead at his keyboard... Im a software developer, I had this friend coworker that I really liked, he was 47, I would get up early (which I HATE) and get to work to have the morning coffee with him and chat, really good knowledgeable dude. Got to work today, he wasnt in the kitchen like he usually is, waited 15 minutes, no show, went to our team's area, I see him at his chair with his head tilted back, I thought he was just frustrated with something so I throw a snarky comment his way, no answer. I nudge him, no response, nudge him again, nothing. I check his pulse, nothing and he is cold. Really messed me up, died at 47 from stress related heart attack, no wife or kids, and the worst thing is I suddenly realized Im on the same track... Work is important guys, but not as important as your life, live it well...
