Making a Doritos Ad Goes Wrong

Made an ad for Doritos using only my phone

A man attempts to make a Doritos advertisement using only his phone, improvised lighting, household props, and dramatic food photography. The production quickly becomes chaotic as chips are smashed, sauce is poured, the bag is shaken, and he ends up face-first in spilled powder. Set to The Irrepressibles’ melancholic song “In This Shirt,” the overly emotional music makes the ridiculous DIY commercial feel like an epic artistic tragedy, creating the joke.
