Robot Tentacle Catches Everything
Speed x1 Speed x1/10 Catching a tennis ball Passive grasping Speed x1/40 Speed x1/10 Speed x2 Speed x1
A robotic multi-jointed tentacle is tested in an outdoor plaza, then shown in slow-motion demonstrations catching a tennis ball, grasping a black object, grabbing a tissue, and holding a potted plant. The joke is that an absurdly elaborate robotic arm is presented as a passive-grasping solution for increasingly random everyday objects. The music gives the compilation a playful, oddly satisfying demonstration-video feel.
