From Burzum to Embrace Christ

BURZUM Embrace Christ

What it means

A man wearing a BURZUM shirt is shown, then meets a Jesus-like figure in a comedic embrace. The clip shifts to Slavic-looking pagan imagery before Jesus hugs the pagan characters, ending on a glowing Orthodox cross with the words “Embrace Christ.” Hillsong UNITED’s uplifting worship song “Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)” makes the conversion joke feel dramatically sincere and absurd, turning an apparent metal or pagan aesthetic into an exaggerated Christian redemption reaction.
