Rifle fails during guard duty

I know a guy who tried to shoot himself with one in Deepin Barracks years ago, the weapon didn't fire and he had to spend the rest of night on guard duty knowing his rifle didn't work and he couldn't report the fault...

A man demonstrates a rifle above a comment describing a failed suicide attempt with the same weapon, which left the person stuck on guard duty while unable to report the malfunction. The distorted shocked face below delivers the punchline: the situation is horrifyingly absurd and unexpectedly funny as a reaction to the story.
