Yakutsk Winter Clothing Guide
Step 6: winter boots. I bought these in Moscow but they aren't warm enough for Yakutsk winter, hence 2 pairs of socks. When I lived in Yakutsk permanently I used to have special boots from reindeer hide called унты — they were really warm and soft and I didn't need extra socks Step 7: scarf is a must, face needs to be protected by something Step 8: a hat. This one is not too warm so I'll wear a good fur extra protection I think I froze to death just reading this Step 9: winter coat, nuff said
A series of anonymous imageboard posts shows increasingly heavy winter clothing: boots with two pairs of socks, a scarf, a hat, and a fur coat, alongside photos of the items. The joke is that Yakutsk winters are portrayed as so brutally cold that merely reading the clothing requirements feels freezing, with the final “nuff said” emphasizing the absurd severity.
