Calm Pool ASMR Turns Terrifying
I don't get it. This looks very calm and relaxing to me. Visual ASMR. Imagine the sound of the water softly lapping against the walls. Why are people afraid of it?
A person admires a calm, turquoise-tiled pool corridor and imagines its soothing ASMR sounds. The punchline is the sudden cut to a grotesque tentacled monster aggressively working at a computer, implying that the supposedly relaxing image is actually terrifying or cursed. This meme is sent as an absurd reaction to peaceful-looking things that hide an ominous, unsettling feeling.
