WAKE UP IT'S CHELISCHEV THURSDAY

A sleepy mustached man lies in bed while the clip cuts to increasingly romantic and energetic scenes of a young couple. The repeated “WAKE UP / IT'S CHELISCHEV THURSDAY” caption turns Thursday into an absurd celebration, while Daryl Hall & John Oates’ upbeat synth-pop song “Out of Touch” makes the montage feel dramatically overexcited and funny. It works as a reaction video for suddenly getting hyped about Thursday or an ordinary event.
