Fishnets, Emo Girls, and Fishermen

Text on the meme

FISHNETS EMO GIRLS FISHERMEN

What it means

A sepia-toned cartoon shows a large fish-like character in a room, with labels pointing to different parts of the scene: “FISHNETS,” “EMO GIRLS,” and “FISHERMEN.” The joke is a visual pun that treats the fishnet-like object and the fishermen as if they were related to emo girls, making it useful as an absurd reaction meme.
