What it means

A screenshot of a social media exchange shows a user asking, “what is Scott Pilgrims,” then posting an animated woman gesturing dramatically with the caption “White devil please control me.” The joke is an exaggerated, confused reaction to Scott Pilgrim, treating the fictional character or franchise as an overwhelming temptation or force to be controlled.
