Dreams Up the Atom Bomb

Text on the meme

For every person who dreams up the electric light bulb, there's the one who dreams up the atom bomb.

What it means

Barbie, Ken, and Gloria stand together in a bright beach setting. Ken contrasts the dream of inventing the electric light bulb with the darker dream of inventing the atom bomb, turning an inspirational statement into an absurdly ominous punchline. The meme is used as a reaction to highlight how every beneficial idea can have a dangerous counterpart.
