Put Yourself in Their Place
Put Yourself in Their Place GO VEGAN THIS THANKSGIVING PETA
A street display outside a Target store shows vegan Thanksgiving alternatives arranged beside a giant turkey-shaped prop, with a person lying on a table to represent the turkey’s perspective. The PETA sign urges viewers to imagine themselves in the animals’ place and go vegan for Thanksgiving. It is used as an ironic or provocative reaction to animal-rights activism and holiday turkey consumption.
