Grandpa Explains What Happened After Griffith

Text on the meme

"So, grandpa? What happened after Guts and his friends saved Griffith? Did they get to form the band of the hawk once more ?"

What it means

Two men react somberly to a question about Guts and Griffith from Berserk. The joke is that the innocent question ignores the horrifying events that follow, making the grandfather’s pained expression a reaction to someone misunderstanding the story. Used as a reaction to naive questions about tragic or disturbing plot developments.
