Somalia's History Gets Worse

SOMALIA'S HISTORY: 500 AD SOMALIA'S HISTORY: 15th to 17th century SOMALIA'S HISTORY: 1978 SOMALIA'S HISTORY: 1990s SOMALIA'S HISTORY: 2000s till now

A rapidly escalating history meme shows Somalia surrounded by chained, crying figures as different foreign powers, flags, an atomic explosion, a rainbow balloon, and masked frog-like characters appear across successive eras. The final close-up of the anguished crying face turns the exaggerated historical timeline into an absurd punchline about endless suffering and geopolitical chaos. Snow Strippers’ “Under Your Spell” plays underneath with dark, hypnotic electronic music, making the montage feel dramatic and increasingly unhinged while heightening the joke.
