Literally 1984 in City 17
LITERALLY 1984
A dystopian city from Half-Life 2 is shown with surveillance screens and a stylized Combine soldier in the foreground. The caption “LITERALLY 1984” jokingly compares the oppressive, constantly monitored setting to George Orwell’s dystopian novel, often used as an exaggerated reaction to perceived censorship or authoritarian control.
