PS1 Game Looks Like a PSX Game

purchase ps1 game look inside ps1 game RECENTLY POSTED Grasping1 0.4 hrs POSTED: 24 OCTOBER Before you read, I do love Metal Gear Solid so please hear me out. Metal Gear Solid 1 is a PSX game. But it shouldn't look straight up like a PSX game. There was no remastering, it looks like how it would if I went down to my basement, got my copy of Metal Gear Solid 1 and booted it up on my PS1 or PS3. They didn't even bother to smooth the game or remaster it in any way, shape or form.

A screenshot of a Steam review complaining that Metal Gear Solid 1 looks exactly like an unremastered PSX game. The joke is that the reviewer expected an older game to receive visual improvements, treating its original appearance as a failure. It is used as a reaction to criticize a lazy remaster or an intentionally unchanged retro release.
