Mirror Object Confusion
Can anyone explain how does the mirror know that there’s an object there?
A person holds a white spherical object beside a mirror and wonders how the mirror knows the object is there. The joke comes from treating a mirror as if it were conscious and able to detect objects, making this a humorous reaction to confusion about reflections and basic optics.
