Anime Fans Missed the Point

Text on the meme

if you're an anime fan and didn't joined a right-wing extremist group you basically missed the whole point

What it means

A tweet screenshot shows a wide-eyed orange-haired anime girl beneath a caption claiming that anime fans who did not join a right-wing extremist group missed the point. The joke is an absurd, ironic exaggeration mocking the association between some anime subcultures and far-right extremism, used as a reaction to ironic political anime-fan discourse.
