Twitter Pickle Money Thread
Thanks for reminding us that the US wastes far too much taxpayer money on "defense". Now, how much of that pickle ended up Zelensky's & his cronies' bank accounts, and how much got kicked back to crooked US politicians like @JoeBiden? But it’s my pickle slice bitch You have eaten a lot of pickles lately, while are vets are sleeping in the streets. Oooh now do the VA. Now that’s putting it in a context that Americans can understand. I want my pickle back If it was your house, said to Ukraine would only be your dining room furniture and sofa. I’m not even opposed to helping out, but that entire hamburger isn’t even in our budget and we don’t have enough money to buy it Would you be opposed to borrowing money from us rather than having us give it to you?
EN: The screenshot shows a chain of Twitter replies about US military aid to Ukraine. The participants deliberately replace discussion of money and military spending with an absurd metaphor involving pickles and a pickle slice, pushing the political argument into absurdity. The meme is used as a sarcastic reaction to populist claims about budgets, corruption, and aid to Ukraine.
