Come and See Gnome Twist

Text on the meme

Movie is come and see. It’s about a young slav who does not believe in the stories of gnomes and once he sees them he cries in joy

What it means

A dark social-media post jokingly misdescribes the war film Come and See as a cheerful fantasy about a young Slav discovering gnomes. The punchline comes from replacing the film’s traumatic subject matter with an absurdly innocent interpretation, creating ironic black humor.
